Account & Data Deletion
Delete it in the app
BLESmith (Android package com.bleworkbench) has a self-serve deletion option built in. It is the fastest route and needs nothing from us:
- Open BLESmith and sign in.
- Tap the ⋮ menu in the top-right corner.
- Choose Account.
- Tap Delete my account and confirm.
Deletion is immediate and permanent. You are signed out straight away, and the credentials stop working at once.
Request deletion by email
You do not need to install the app to have your account deleted. If you cannot access it, email contacts@rapidcircuitry.com from the address your account is registered under, with the subject line Delete my BLESmith account. We verify that the request came from the registered address, delete the account, and confirm by reply.
What gets deleted
- Email, display nameSENT TO SERVERPermanently deleted from our account database.

- Account ID & creation dateSENT TO SERVERPermanently deleted along with the rest of the account record.
- Session token (JWT)ON-DEVICEErased from your phone, and it can no longer reach any account — every authenticated request checks that the account still exists.
Once deleted, the account cannot be recovered. You are welcome to sign up again with the same email address — it will be a new, empty account.
Timeline
Deletion through the in-app option is immediate — the account record is removed as soon as you confirm.
For an emailed request, we delete account records within 30 daysof verifying it, and confirm by email once it’s complete. Disaster-recovery backups that include your record age out and are overwritten within 90 days; they are never used to restore a deleted account.
Data we never had
Your BLE scan history, session logs, GATT snapshots, saved codecs, automation sequences, UART macros, and app preferences were never sent to us — deleting your account doesn’t touch them, because there was nothing on our side to delete. To remove that data, clear BLESmith’s storage or uninstall the app (Android Settings → Apps → BLESmith → Storage).
